The opposition in Guyana is telling people that the Guyanese working class will be sent to fight war for the oligarchs to become wealthier. What a country of inequality. Guyanese people beg for money to buy food, while at the same time, the oligarchs are importing Rolls Royces and Lamborghinis.

5 Guyanese military personnel died in a helicopter crash near the Venezuelan border. It makes me wonder whether the anti-Trinidad behaviour from the upper echelons in Guyana are eyepassing local Guyanese. The VP Bharrat Jagdeo and his friends are living the life while the Guyanese are sent to die in wars

People in Guyana are lamenting why they should fight war when Bharrat Jagdeo and his elites are safe in their gated communities and overseas mansions. Guyana is a divided country because people feel that if they are fighting war, it's not for Guyana as a whole, but to protect the interests of Bharrat Jagdeo.

A Guyana army helicopter with 7 personnel is missing near the Venezuelan border. Imagine that Bharrat Jagdeo and his bourgeois elite supporters are sending the average man ill-equipped and in danger of harm's way.

My position on the matter is that whetever problem Guyana has with Venezuela, T&T should NOT become involved. It's not wise for us to risk our lives to fight wars for Guyana like a useful fool. Guyana is on their own!
Guest:
Some of you Guyanese people really eye pass T&T. We must fight war with Venezuela and risk our lives to protect the kleptocrats in Guyana?
Guest:
Why must the TTDF engage in war with Venezuela? We ain't stupid to fight war so that Bharrat Jagdeo and his cronies will become richer and insult my sweet T&T.

WTI went below U$70, and Brent went below U$75 today. OPEC is definitely not happy with Guyana increasing oil production to 620,000 barrels a day this year, 840,000 next year, and 1.2 million in 2027

The Venezuela-Guyana dispute is not my circus, not my circus animals.

Guyana refused to sell India oil at a discount, while india is buying Venezuela crude at a discounted price. India is a net importer of large amounts of oil. Right now, India is at loggerheads with America's ally- Canada. So this Venezuelan Essequibo dispute involves a lot of actors, rather than the lone antagonist President Nicolas Maduro. I wouldn't be surprised if Russia, China, Iran, OPEC members and India are somewhat in cahoots. For this reason, we in T&T should abstain from any geopolitic

In the grand scheme of things, Guyana is poised to export 1.2 million barrels of oil daily in less than 3 years' time from now, while OPEC members are struggling to cut more and more oil production while oil prices are currently falling. OPEC does see Guyana as a problem because 1) market share, 2) Guyana is producing more oil which lowers oil prices.

Guyanese people have to be very gullible to believe that President Nicolas Maduro is the lone actor in the Essequibo dispute. Some Guyanese can't stop jestering about how Uncle Sam will come to save them from President Nicolas Maduro. They don't realize that more powerful and stronger adversaries are at play. Maybe Russia. Maybe China. Maybe Saudi Arabia.

@ Guyanese: Who are you to tell us how to operate our twin island nation? We don't want any involvement in dangerous political agenda

The Trini army should head over to Venezuela and assassinate the dictator Maduro. For the sake of Guyana, will someone in Trinidad please overthrow the Maduro government?

Should Guyana close the borders to Trinidadians now that Guyana will become the richest oil producer in the world?
